1. Replacement of Engine Shield Device
1.1 Removal of Engine Shield Device
1.1.1 Firstly screw off the two hexagon flange bolts assembling unit connect with front backplate of engine and
lower mounting bracket of front bumper ；
1.1.2 Screw off four hexagon flange bolts connect with front backplate of engine and mounting bracket of engine
backplate；
1.1.3 Take down the eight expansion buckles of front backplate of engine and left and right mounting bracket of
engine backplate/rear backplate of engine；
1.1.4 Take down front backplate of engine；
1.1.5 Screw off six hexagon flange bolts connect with rear backplate of engine and lower plate of first and second
beam/ third beam；
1.1.6 Take down rear backplate of engine；
1.1.7 Pull the engine shield assembly up and down；
1.1.8 Remove engine shield pillars 1 and 2 each ；
1.1.9 Remove four engine shields and install rubber sleeves.

（Q1840820F62）is 20N·m～25N·m; tightening torque of hexagon flange bolts（Q1840820F62）is 6N·m～
11N·m.
2. Replacement of Front Bumper
2.1
Removal of Front Bumper
2.1.1 Firstly screw off the two bolts of front bumper and lower mounting bracket of front bumper；
2.1.2 Take down ten expansion buckles connect with front bumper assembly and wheel cover device(As shown in
figure A)and one M-Type sunk screw（As shown in figure B）；
2.1.3Screw off the four bolts between front bumper and front bumper bracket；
2.1.4 Take down the eleven expansion buckles connect with front bumper assembly and upper beam of radiator；
2.1.5 Remove the 6 bolts of the bracket and the upper beam of the radiator in front of the retainer；
2.1.6 The clamping structure of opening front bumper body and front bumper left and right mounting bracket and
headlamp;
2.1.7 Remove front bumper assembly and remove fog lamp connector.

2.2 Installation of Front Bumper
Conduct installation in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torque of hexagon and flat gasket
assembly（11254-06161）is 9N·m～11N·m.
3. Replacement of Rear Bumper
3.1 Removal of Rear Bumper
3.1.1 Remove the four hexagon flange bolts connect with rear bumper assembly and exterior rear panel
subassembly of left and right longitudinal beam of chassis.
3.1.2 Pull up frame harness assembly, take down rear bumper assembly.

Conduct the installation in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torque of hexagon flange

4. Replacement of Decorative Panel Device
4.1 Removal of Decorative Panel
4.1.1 Tear down front grille label、JAC Motors Label、Vehicle Model Label、2.0CTI Label、4WD Label directly；
Attention, these kinds of components will be damaged after removal, which are not able to be recoverable and
need to install new ones.

4.2 Installation of Decorative Panel Device
4.2.1 Utilize positioning fixture to locate JAC Motors Label、2.0CTI Label、Vehicle Model Label and so
on, tear down the release paper of double faced adhesive tape on the reverse side,paste it on the metal plate
surface of body; pay attention to clean the paste position before installation.
4.2.2 Tear down the release paper of double faced adhesive tape on the reverse side of front grille label,
then clip it into the positioning hole of front bumper grille and press and ensure that it has been pasted solidly;
pay attention to clean the paste position before installation.
5. Replacement of Front Windshield Device
5.1 Removal of Front Windshield Device
5.1.1 Remove the expansion buckles connect with left and right baffle of ventilation cover plate and
fender，take down the left and right baffle of ventilation cover plate；
5.1.2 Firstly screw off the two hexagon bolts assembling units on the left and right side of ventilation cover
plate
assembly，then remove the eight ex
pansion buckles ，pull up water pipe，
take down the ventilation cover plate assembly；
5.1.3 Cut away the sealant between front windshield glass and installation rim of body metal plate，take down
front windshield glass assembly；Attention, the front windshield glass and decorative strip are not able to be
recoverable, reinstallation needs to use new ones.

5.2 Installation of Front Windshield Device
5.2.1Installation of Front Windshield Glass
a) Spot Check Before Assembly
Check the appearance for scratch and other defects，check the quantity of assembly units for exactness，
check the product and mandatory testing indentification for clearness and exactness；
b) Installation Step
1）Place the front windshield glass on the working position apparatus with glass gumming，install the

decorative strip of front windshield along the windscreen margin, ensure that the adhesive tape has been pasted
well，the centre mark on the decorative strip of front windshield should be aligned with the centre mark of
glass；as air temperature becomes lower，the decorative strip of front windshield should be put into drying oven
and conduct assembly after baking fever，it is necessary to prevent the adhesive tape from solidness and poor
clamping；
2）Utilize the clean rag with glass cleaner on it to clean the flange surface of body metal plate that used for
installing front windshield glass，let rest 1—2 minutes；
3）Utilize the hair brush to paint the prime coat of glass on the flange surface of body metal plate that used
for installing front windshield glass evenly；
4）Utilize glass cleaner to clean the gumming region of front windshield glass and dry it in the air；
5）Paint the prime coat on the gumming region of front windshield glass and dry it in the air；
6）Utilize glue gun to paint glass cement on the glass gumming region along the boundary of decorative
strip of front windshield；glue specification：the rim width of glue bottom is 8mm，height is 12mm；
7）After glue painting, utilize suction cup to deliver front windshield assembly to the upside of installation
rim of body metal plate，press it on the flange surface of body metal plate that used for installing front
windshield glass，the limited post clips into spacing hole of metal plate，and place it for more than 12 hours
under static state.
c）Check the fit of adhesive tape of front windshield to body metal plate for good condition, whether limited
post has been clipped into spacing hole of metal plate or not, whether the phenomenon of excessice glue exists
or not, if does, please conduct relevant adjustment immediately.
5.1.2 Installation of Ventilation Cover Plate Assembly
a）Rotate ventilation cover plate to suitable angle, two windscreen wiper spindles are combined inside it, insert
the limit pin into the reverse side of front windshield，insert the stop rib into relevant hole location of the upper
cover plate of front wall of vehicle body；
b）The mounting hole of ventilation cover plate is aligned with mounting hole of body metal plate，assemble the
expansion buckle，then tighten up the M6 hexagon flange bolts and assembling units of spring flat
gasket（big gasket）, the tightening torque is 9N•m～11N•m，conduct the installation of main location
hole firstly；
c）Clip the cover plate on the left/right side of ventilation cover plate into the relevant position of flange surface
of fender，ensure that the clamp pin has been clamped well, the fit clearance of appearance is even；
d)Place the left/right baffle
of ventilation cover plate into the relevant position of left/right fender，make the
mounting hole aligned, fasten it with expansion buckle.
e)Check the ventilation cover plate for solid installation after assembly，check the fit between sealing strip of

ventilation cover plate and front windshield glass for good condition, check the fit among flange surface on the
left/right cover plate of ventilation cover plate and fender、front windshield glass、ventilation cover plate for
good condition.
6. Replacement of Decorative Parts of Wheel Cover
6.1 Removal of Decorative Parts of Wheel Cover
6.1.1 Remove the snap joint installed in the trim panel of vehicle door regarding front/rear mudguard of front
wheel，take down the front/rear mudguard of front wheel.
6.1.2 Screw off the four M-Type sunk screws that connect with rear fender of left/right front wheel and upper
fender of left/right front wheel，take down the rear fender of left front wheel；
6.1.3 Screw off the expansion buckle that installed in the upper fender of left/right front wheel， then screw off the
M-Type bolts that installed between front bumper、fender，take down the fender of left/right front wheel；

7.1.1 Utilize slot type screwdriver to pry off the clamping structure between ventilation assembly and body-side
sheet, take down ventilator assembly；attention, in the process of removing ventilator assembly, the sponge
sealing strip will be damaged, sponage sealing strip must be replaced as reinstallation.

8.1 Removal of Rear Windshield Device
8.1.1 Cut up the sealant between rear windscreen and installation rim of body metal plate，take down rear
windscreen；Attention, rear windscreen and rubber stop strip are not able to be recoverable, replace new ones as
reinstallation.

8.2 Installation of Rear Windshield Device
a) Spot Check Before Assembly
Check the appearance for scratch and other defects，check the quantity of assembly units for exactness，
check the product and mandatory testing indentification for clearness and exactness；check the top rim for
correct installation.
b) Installation Step
1）Place the rear windshield glass on the working position apparatus with glass gumming，install the baffle strip
of windscreen along the windscreen margin, ensure that the adhesive tape has been pasted well，the centre mark on
the adhesive strip of rear windshield should be aligned with the centre mark of glass；
2）Utilize the clean rag with glass cleaner on it to clean the flange surface of body metal plate that used for
installing rear windshield glass，let rest 1—2 minutes；
3）Utilize the hair brush to paint the prime coat of glass on the flange surface of body metal plate that used for

installing rear windshield glass evenly；
4）Utilize glass cleaner to clean the gumming region of rear windshield glass and dry it in the air；
5）Paint the prime coat on the gumming region of rear windshield glass and dry it in the air；
6）Utilize glue gun to paint glass cement on the glass gumming region along the boundary of baffle strip of rear
windshield；glue specification：the rim width of glue bottom is 8mm，height is 12mm；
7）After glue painting, utilize suction cup to deliver rear windshield assembly to the rear of installation rim of body
metal plate，press it on the flange surface of body metal plate that used for installing rear windshield glass，the
limited post is aligned with spacing hole of metal plate，utilize bangdage to tie up it in order to prevent falling off
and place it for more than 12 hours
c）Check the fit of adhesive tape of rear windshield to body metal plate for good condition after assembly,
whether flange surface of end cap of top rim has been clipped into adhesive strip of rear windshield or not,
whether the phenomenon of excessice glue exists or not.
9. Replacement of Roof Exterior Protection Surface Device
9.1 Removal of Roof Exterior Protection Surface Device
9.1.1 Open left/right top rim and side wall from forepart、clamping structure that connects with top cap,take down
left/right top rim from rear to front.

11.2 Installation of Visitor Stepping Device
a）Firstly, hang the upper mounting hole of centre mounting bracket of stepping assembly on the projection welding
bolts of body mounting bracket in advance，then insert the hanger on the front mounting bracket of stepping
assembly into corresponding hole of vehicle body，conduct stepping pretightening；
b）Make mounting bracket of stepping assembly be aligned with mounting hole of vehicle body，tighten up it
through hexagon bolts、spring washer and assembling unit of flat washer and hexagon nut with flange， firstly tighten up
main、auxiliary positioning hole，then tighten up and install them from rear to front、tightening torque is 20N·m～
25N·m；As tightening up centre mounting bracket bolts, utilize hexagon nut with flangeto fasten them on the projection
welding bolts of body mounting bracket, tightening torque is 20N·m～25N·m。
c）After assembly, check whether the gap between stepping and metal plate of body is even or not.
12. Replacement of Lamplight System

Notes
■Before removal of electric connector, it is necessary to remove battery terminal negative and wait for at
least three minutes, otherwise, the vehicle will be damaged；

■As removal and installation of components, please utilize rag to protect removed parts from damage；
■As removal of metal clip from ornament，make use of cloth to wrap the screwdriver blade；
■Attention, do not damage body components；
■As installation of body trim，firstly confirm that clip has been installed into plate hole of vehicle body
firmly，then press them into the panel hole carefully；
■As the removal of some components is not able to be finished by only one person, it is necessary to
conduct the removal by two persons to avoid falling off；
■Please do not remove some ornaments with strong force, which may lead to components deformation；
■Do not remove headlamp from reflector and place it for a long time, because as dust、humudity、smog
enters into the inside of headlamp, it may have influence on lamp performance, please install the new bulb after
removal of bulb from headlamp reflector；
■The headlamp is semi-closed and bar graphic typed，use removable halogen bulb. Replacement of bulb can
be conducted in the engine compartment，it is better to conduct replacement after removal；
■As conducting operation for bulb，please hold the plastic holder of bulb only, do not touch glass shell；
■Please do not shake or rotate the bulbs as removal.

1）Headlamp Switch（Needs Confirmation of Electric Grouping and Update）
Use multimeter to check conduction as shown in the following diagram，if it is not in accordance with
diagram, replace headlamp switch.

2）Headlamp Relay（Needs Confirmation of Electric Grouping and Update）

As shown in the figure above，battery terminal negative connects with No.86 terminal of relay，battery
terminal negative connects with No.85 terminal of relay，use multimeter to check No.30 terminal of relay and
No.87 terminal of relay for breakover，resistance value should be less than 2，
otherwise they need to be replaced.
12.2.4 Replacement of Headlamp
：
1.Removal Step：
1）Disconnect battery terminal negative；
2）Remove front bumper，refer to“replacement of front
bumper”；

3）Utilize six point sockets with diameter of 10mm to remove the four fixed bolts of headlamp
；
4）Shift headlamp carefully, remove electric connector；
5）Remove headlamp assembly.
2.Installation Step：
1）Connect with electric connector of headlamp assembly；
2）Install headlamp assembly and fixed bolts；
■Tightening torque of bolts is：（ 9±1）N·m
3）Install front bumper；
4）Reinstall battery terminal negative；
5）Check whether lamplight is in accordance with requirement or not.
Caution
：
■ If it is not in accordance with requirement, adjustment should be conducted.
12.2.5 Adjustment of Headlamp Light
：
①Confirm that all tire pressure is normal；
②Place vehicle and tester on the same flat surface；
③Confirm that except the driver（or place equivalent weight on the driver position）, vehicle is under
unloaded state;（add cooling liquid，engine oil and other liquid to normal liquid level，top up liquid tank）；
④Open low beam of headlamp；
⑤Use dimmer tool（M6 hexagonal dimmer tool，it is not recommended to use cross screwdriver）to adjust
high、low beam lamplight，if the forepart of vehicle has been repaired/or headlamp assembly has been replaced，
beam-focusing should be inspected，please use lamplight tester to adjust it；
⑥Conduct beam-focusing according to beam-focusing diagram until it has been adjusted well.

1.Removal Step：
1）Disconnect battery terminal negative；
2）Screw off lampholder of steering lamp anticlockwise；
3）Disconnect harness connector；
4）Take down steering lamp bulb；

12.3.3 Adjustment of Fog Lamp Beam
Caution
：
■The light beam of front fog lamp should be adjusted to provide correct illumination on the street；
■Installation of new fog lamp assembly or maintenance or repair of vehicle forepart may disturb mounting
bracket of front fog lamp，therefore, it is necessary to inspect the adjustment of light beam of front fog lamp；
■The light beam of front fog lamp assembly regarding this model is not able to be horizontal adjustment；

1）In order to ensure that the accurate adjustment of vertical light beam of front fog lamp，firstly prepare the
vehicle according to the following steps：
① If the vehicle has been conducted other maintenance, firstly confirm that all the components on the
vehicle are complete and in position；
② Confirm that fuel stays at the top level or slightly lower than top level；
③ Place vehicle on level ground that is 1.52m away from target screen；
④ Stop all the other operatios of the vehicle；
⑤ Shake vehicle suspension in position；
⑥ Cover headlamp as adjusting light beam of fog lamp；
2）Turn on front fog lamp；

inspection. Please confirm that whether replacement lamp is normal or not?
2）Please check the wire harness from switch to lamp.
3. Only front(or rear) lamp is out of operation
1）Separate the connector, use digital multimeter to measure the needle voltage，whether voltage is normal
or not?
2）Check the instrument panel harness from steering signal or hazard warning switch to connector.

5）Check the connector from lamp to wire harness.

13.1 Disassembly of Wall Decoration Device
13.1.1Remove the hexagonal bolts and flattening pad (wide) assemblies of the left/right front eyebrow assembly,
the left/right front fender panel and the left/right side fence assembly, one for each side.
13.1.2 Remove the M-shaped countersunk head screws of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the wing panel
assembly, two on each side.
13.1.3 Remove the clamping structure of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the front bumper assembly
13.1.4 Remove the installation clasp of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the left/right front fender panel,
and remove the left/right front eyebrow assembly.
13.1.5 Remove the plastic buckle and M-type countersunk head screw of the left/right rear eyebrow assembly and
