1. Replacement of Engine Shield Device
1.1 Removal of Engine Shield Device
1.1.1 Firstly screw off the two hexagon flange bolts assembling unit connect with front backplate of engine and
lower mounting bracket of front bumper
1.1.2 Screw off four hexagon flange bolts connect with front backplate of engine and mounting bracket of engine
backplate
1.1.3 Take down the eight expansion buckles of front backplate of engine and left and right mounting bracket of
engine backplate/rear backplate of engine
1.1.4 Take down front backplate of engine
1.1.5 Screw off six hexagon flange bolts connect with rear backplate of engine and lower plate of first and second
beam/ third beam
1.1.6 Take down rear backplate of engine
1.1.7 Pull the engine shield assembly up and down

2.1.4 Take down the eleven expansion buckles connect with front bumper assembly and upper beam of radiator
2.1.5 Remove the 6 bolts of the bracket and the upper beam of the radiator in front of the retainer
2.1.6 The clamping structure of opening front bumper body and front bumper left and right mounting bracket and
headlamp;
2.1.7 Remove front bumper assembly and remove fog lamp connector.

4.2.1 Utilize positioning fixture to locate JAC Motors Label2.0CTI LabelVehicle Model Label and so
on, tear down the release paper of double faced adhesive tape on the reverse side,paste it on the metal plate
surface of body; pay attention to clean the paste position before installation.
4.2.2 Tear down the release paper of double faced adhesive tape on the reverse side of front grille label,
then clip it into the positioning hole of front bumper grille and press and ensure that it has been pasted solidly;
pay attention to clean the paste position before installation.
5. Replacement of Front Windshield Device
5.1 Removal of Front Windshield Device
5.1.1 Remove the expansion buckles connect with left and right baffle of ventilation cover plate and
fendertake down the left and right baffle of ventilation cover plate
5.1.2 Firstly screw off the two hexagon bolts assembling units on the left and right side of ventilation cover
plate

5.1.3 Cut away the sealant between front windshield glass and installation rim of body metal platetake down

1Place the front windshield glass on the working position apparatus with glass gumminginstall the

decorative strip of front windshield along the windscreen margin, ensure that the adhesive tape has been pasted
wellthe centre mark on the decorative strip of front windshield should be aligned with the centre mark of
glassas air temperature becomes lowerthe decorative strip of front windshield should be put into drying oven
and conduct assembly after baking feverit is necessary to prevent the adhesive tape from solidness and poor
clamping
2Utilize the clean rag with glass cleaner on it to clean the flange surface of body metal plate that used for
installing front windshield glasslet rest 12 minutes
3Utilize the hair brush to paint the prime coat of glass on the flange surface of body metal plate that used
for installing front windshield glass evenly
4Utilize glass cleaner to clean the gumming region of front windshield glass and dry it in the air
5Paint the prime coat on the gumming region of front windshield glass and dry it in the air
6Utilize glue gun to paint glass cement on the glass gumming region along the boundary of decorative
strip of front windshieldglue specificationthe rim width of glue bottom is 8mmheight is 12mm
7After glue painting, utilize suction cup to deliver front windshield assembly to the upside of installation
rim of body metal platepress it on the flange surface of body metal plate that used for installing front
windshield glassthe limited post clips into spacing hole of metal plateand place it for more than 12 hours
under static state.
cCheck the fit of adhesive tape of front windshield to body metal plate for good condition, whether limited
post has been clipped into spacing hole of metal plate or not, whether the phenomenon of excessice glue exists
or not, if does, please conduct relevant adjustment immediately.
5.1.2 Installation of Ventilation Cover Plate Assembly
aRotate ventilation cover plate to suitable angle, two windscreen wiper spindles are combined inside it, insert
the limit pin into the reverse side of front windshieldinsert the stop rib into relevant hole location of the upper
cover plate of front wall of vehicle body
bThe mounting hole of ventilation cover plate is aligned with mounting hole of body metal plateassemble the
expansion bucklethen tighten up the M6 hexagon flange bolts and assembling units of spring flat
gasketbig gasket, the tightening torque is 9N•m11N•mconduct the installation of main location
hole firstly
cClip the cover plate on the left/right side of ventilation cover plate into the relevant position of flange surface
of fenderensure that the clamp pin has been clamped well, the fit clearance of appearance is even
d)Place the left/right baffle
of ventilation cover plate into the relevant position of left/right fendermake the
mounting hole aligned, fasten it with expansion buckle.
e)Check the ventilation cover plate for solid installation after assemblycheck the fit between sealing strip of

6. Replacement of Decorative Parts of Wheel Cover
6.1 Removal of Decorative Parts of Wheel Cover
6.1.1 Remove the snap joint installed in the trim panel of vehicle door regarding front/rear mudguard of front
wheeltake down the front/rear mudguard of front wheel.
6.1.2 Screw off the four M-Type sunk screws that connect with rear fender of left/right front wheel and upper
fender of left/right front wheeltake down the rear fender of left front wheel
6.1.3 Screw off the expansion buckle that installed in the upper fender of left/right front wheel then screw off the
M-Type bolts that installed between front bumperfendertake down the fender of left/right front wheel

reinstallation.

aFirstly, hang the upper mounting hole of centre mounting bracket of stepping assembly on the projection welding
bolts of body mounting bracket in advancethen insert the hanger on the front mounting bracket of stepping
assembly into corresponding hole of vehicle bodyconduct stepping pretightening
bMake mounting bracket of stepping assembly be aligned with mounting hole of vehicle bodytighten up it
through hexagon boltsspring washer and assembling unit of flat washer and hexagon nut with flange firstly tighten up
mainauxiliary positioning holethen tighten up and install them from rear to fronttightening torque is 20N·m
25N·mAs tightening up centre mounting bracket bolts, utilize hexagon nut with flangeto fasten them on the projection
welding bolts of body mounting bracket, tightening torque is 20N·m25N·m
cAfter assembly, check whether the gap between stepping and metal plate of body is even or not.

Before removal of electric connector, it is necessary to remove battery terminal negative and wait for at
least three minutes, otherwise, the vehicle will be damaged

As removal and installation of components, please utilize rag to protect removed parts from damage
As removal of metal clip from ornamentmake use of cloth to wrap the screwdriver blade
Attention, do not damage body components
As installation of body trimfirstly confirm that clip has been installed into plate hole of vehicle body
firmlythen press them into the panel hole carefully
As the removal of some components is not able to be finished by only one person, it is necessary to
conduct the removal by two persons to avoid falling off
Please do not remove some ornaments with strong force, which may lead to components deformation
Do not remove headlamp from reflector and place it for a long time, because as dusthumuditysmog
enters into the inside of headlamp, it may have influence on lamp performance, please install the new bulb after
removal of bulb from headlamp reflector
The headlamp is semi-closed and bar graphic typeduse removable halogen bulb. Replacement of bulb can
be conducted in the engine compartmentit is better to conduct replacement after removal
As conducting operation for bulbplease hold the plastic holder of bulb only, do not touch glass shell
Please do not shake or rotate the bulbs as removal.

3Utilize six point sockets with diameter of 10mm to remove the four fixed bolts of headlamp
4Shift headlamp carefully, remove electric connector
5Remove headlamp assembly.
2.Installation Step
1Connect with electric connector of headlamp assembly

Tightening torque of bolts is:( 9±1N·m
3Install front bumper
4Reinstall battery terminal negative
5Check whether lamplight is in accordance with requirement or not.
Caution
If it is not in accordance with requirement, adjustment should be conducted.
12.2.5 Adjustment of Headlamp Light
Confirm that all tire pressure is normal
Place vehicle and tester on the same flat surface
Confirm that except the driveror place equivalent weight on the driver position, vehicle is under
unloaded state;add cooling liquidengine oil and other liquid to normal liquid leveltop up liquid tank);
Open low beam of headlamp
Use dimmer toolM6 hexagonal dimmer toolit is not recommended to use cross screwdriverto adjust
highlow beam lamplightif the forepart of vehicle has been repaired/or headlamp assembly has been replaced
beam-focusing should be inspectedplease use lamplight tester to adjust it
Conduct beam-focusing according to beam-focusing diagram until it has been adjusted well.

12.3.3 Adjustment of Fog Lamp Beam
Caution
The light beam of front fog lamp should be adjusted to provide correct illumination on the street
Installation of new fog lamp assembly or maintenance or repair of vehicle forepart may disturb mounting
bracket of front fog lamptherefore, it is necessary to inspect the adjustment of light beam of front fog lamp
The light beam of front fog lamp assembly regarding this model is not able to be horizontal adjustment

1In order to ensure that the accurate adjustment of vertical light beam of front fog lampfirstly prepare the
vehicle according to the following steps
If the vehicle has been conducted other maintenance, firstly confirm that all the components on the
vehicle are complete and in position
Confirm that fuel stays at the top level or slightly lower than top level
Place vehicle on level ground that is 1.52m away from target screen
Stop all the other operatios of the vehicle
Shake vehicle suspension in position
Cover headlamp as adjusting light beam of fog lamp

3Insert cross screwdriver through lower space of front bumper to approach to vertical adjustment bolts of
fog lamp
4Adjust fog lamp up and down to make top edge of high brightness area of screen is lower 102mm than
horizontal centre line. The range on the target screen is 0mm from horizontal centre line to ground line
Test the lamplight after installation. If it is not in accordance with requirement, adjustment should be
conducted.

13.1.1Remove the hexagonal bolts and flattening pad (wide) assemblies of the left/right front eyebrow assembly,
the left/right front fender panel and the left/right side fence assembly, one for each side.
13.1.2 Remove the M-shaped countersunk head screws of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the wing panel
assembly, two on each side.
13.1.3 Remove the clamping structure of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the front bumper assembly
13.1.4 Remove the installation clasp of the left/right front eyebrow assembly and the left/right front fender panel,
and remove the left/right front eyebrow assembly.
13.1.5 Remove the plastic buckle and M-type countersunk head screw of the left/right rear eyebrow assembly and
the left/right outer panel assembly, four left/right (two front and two back) and two side;
