Relationship of PEPS and other systems
1PEPS&ESC: PEPS receives CAN-bus wheel speed signal, vehicle speed signal and hard-wire wheel
speed signal to judge the vehicle is running or static.
2PEPS&EMSPEPS receives the signal of engine speed, coolant temperature, starting request and so
on to realize the IMMO authentication, start-stop function etc.
3PEPS&ICMPEPS exchanges information with ICM, especially alarming signal and information
displayed on ICM. As the gateway of CAN-bus, ICM transfers signal from EMS, TCU, ESC and so on.
4PEPS&BCM PEPS exchanges information with BCM, especially to realize door lock&unlock and
power window function.
5PEPS&TCUPEPS receives gear position signal from TCU to judge gear position as system operation
condition.
6PEPS&Brake SwitchAs auto transmission model, PEPS receives brake pedal signal from brake
switch as system operation condition.
7P/N SwtichProvide P gear position signal as power OFF necessary condition.
8P/N Swtich or PN RelayProvide P or N gear position signal as starting necessary condition. And P
gear position signal is needed for engine turn off.
